Rufio has found a home that we are
calling "A match made in heaven!"
From the first moment he arrived he has made himself at home, and is warming
the hearts of his new family. He is talking to them all making sure they know
what he is all about, Bassett Hounds included.
Thank you, Julie for being that very special person Rufio needed and loving
everything about him.
Rufio is a magnificent, SERENGETI cat who is the largest cat residing here
with us. Everything you could ask for in a cat, Rufio is also a harbinger
of greater things to come and makes a wonderful mascot for
our friends that breed Serengeti cats.
He enjoys being at Pet Expos and cat shows and
we were very proud to have presented him for evaluation of the newer Serengeti
breed!
For a therapy cat, Rufio is a prime example of
a devoted, loving "people" cat. He has no "off" switch
(that we can find anyway) while he rubs and rolls, stretches and sprawls,
turning himself nearly inside out in response to any voice or touch. He is
continuously making conversation, although he cannot express enough the package
of joy and happiness that he is. Any human in his presence cannot hold back
warm smiles and the urge to hold him
or respond to his invitation to rub his currently over weight tummy!
Rufio holds the title here as our Mighty Talker, and in addition to being
a wonderful companion in a single cat household, he can now be acquired by
someone who will benefit from all that Rufio has to give.

Well, Kobey went home and what we know so far is she loves her new life and all the bed to herself and mama!
She is apparently a little "flip-flop" when it comes to getting and staying comfy on Carolyn's chest and stirs her gently from her sleep with kisses on the nose. This is a little kitty with a very string character that has already captured her new owner who can look forward to more wonderful experiences. Being new to cats she has a lot to look forward to.
UPDATE: Kobey's mom calls us frequently to tell us the heart warming little stories of her life with Kobey and her crazy antics. I've asked Carolyn to write some of these things down so I can post them here for everyone's enjoyment. That will be coming soon.....
Kobey's new mom is counting the days until she can take her little honey home. Kobey impressed Carolyn with being so little but having the speed of a bullet and the agility in a swift meat theft likened to that of a turbo vacuum cleaner.
Even Kobey's new Grandma expressed love at first sight when brought over to meet the coming new addition to the family. Grandpa has to hurry to build the perfect scratching post that was carefully planned out and for her homecoming.

Kyle headed off
to New York in a few weeks ago to be with Kimberly and Frank. He is going
to be a play
companion to pretty brown spotted Kori from the Price's at Bengaland.
He had stored up a lot of kisses to deliver when he met his new family and
hasn't stopped offering them daily.
Reports are in that he is adored and is having a wonderful time winning over
great fondness of his new daddy.
Kyle is going to be every bit as handsome and huge as Leo (Woofman).
He has always been the largest in the litter and is growing swiftly! This
guy already has a loving personality, and show how sweet he is too. All they
want to do at present is stampede out the nursery as soon as we open the door.
They are eager to see the
rest of the world and find new places to play.
