Birth of Bengal Exotic FX Kopernicus

Kopernicus is about the best marbled Bengals that we have ever produced!
He can be seen in more detail from birth to current date on our Bengals At Homes, page.

But take a look at this...

We have been excited about showing our "Marbled" patterned cats/kittens these past few and current seasons.
Several of the up and coming kittens that we plan to further our breeding program with are pleasing the judges. most of whom we have taken to the show rings have at least titled as Champions in their first show.

Marbled Bengals have become quite popular now that the public is having the opportunity to
see some exemplary examples in real.

A wonderful Marbled Bengal kitten/cat is difficult to
capture it's beauty with photography. They are born with very little markings that eventually unfolds over the first two years of their lives, gifting who beholds them with on-going beauty as they "fall-out" with what they are all about every couple months over and over.
Simply awesome!

The trained eye of the breeder knows what is to come to be based on viewing, prior litters and knowing what the parents typically produce.

Imagine waiting for Christmas every couple of months, and that is what your marbled Bengal will give you by way of his/her unfolding presentation of a more and more beautiful cat as this exquisite development occurs.

By the time they turn two years old it is THEN that you know, what you see is what you got which is significantly more than what it was you first saw and the day you purchased your special pet.

A breeder who knows their bloodlines can be relatively certain of the potential outcome of any given kitten even though little shows up early on. Be sure to view parents, and even grand parents and past litters for an idea of what potentials are possible to show up over their two years of unfolding their own beauty.

Marbled Bengals are unique and quite exquisite.

To appreciate the marbled Bengal, one needs to see them in purrson! :-)

Be sure to attend the Edmonton Cat Show on March 29/30 2008 and take a closer look at the terrific marbled Bengals we will take there to show!

We will also be present at the Calgary Show, April 19/20, 2008, with great pride
showing what we have developed.









The Southern Alberta Calgary Cat Fanciers (October, 2007) and also the CanAm Show in Richmond BC (November, 2007), both gave us an opportunity to present several Marbled kittens and a few choice adults that we are working with at this time.

Watch out during this season while our kittens that progress through age to the adult competition and qualify for potential Championship status.



Update: Indeed our Marbled Bengals were the recipients of a high percentage of scoring in the top 3 of breed and top 5 of colour. This was seconded by numerous finals thrilling us that judges are recognizing the work that we are only a small part of in the advancements of Marbled Bengals, body and head/face type.
Hurray for all the gorgeous Marbles and excellent body type!



My Kudos go out to ALL the Bengal Breeders who have fallen in love with the Marbled Bengal and worked so very hard at producing the best!



By definition: Marbled Bengals are more highly desireable if the pattern is
quite exotic and represent the chaotic affects of what we know as marbled pattern in our every day lives.

Think of a chaotic pattern on a marbled counter top...
It is important to differentiate from the regular domestic marble that is referred to as "Classic Marble", whereby in Bengals, we need to see a chaotic horizontal flow from the front of the cat to the hind end as opposed to the domestic version that is characteristic of being a "bull's-eye" on the sides of the cat.

Bengal breeders world wide have been banding together to share and produce
many outstanding and unique horizontal, chaotic or diagonal patterns that are stiking, unique, and when adding multi-dimentional colouration, texture to coat and
exquisite Bengal body type structure,
you may find yourself surprised to experience "Eye-Candy"
when you gaze on a marbled beauty.

Further to our "family successes", most recently, pet owners of ours became ecstatic with the judges appeal for their newly acquired kittens who we just happened to have enter into a cat show prior.
Both babies were WELL received, acquiring kitten finals and breed standings, proving to be great fun for the new owners who took them home days
after that show knowing they had some pretty special kitties! :-)

Watch for these two snow boys to be present in local shows to come.

You will see more of these two boys in the show halls and for the coming April 19/20 show in Calgary, Alberta, they will create competition for their Ancestor
Species Bengal Fidus Achates ((a now altered, retired breeder of their bloodline that is 8.3 years old (HCM negative), showing against his own bloodlines, generations later, reflecting the growth in breed development.

WILL BE FUN TO WATCH THE JUDGES.))
Do know.... "Fido" is still a great cat!!!!
This showing of our "senior" Fido is for fun - he is such a suck.... Wonder what judges think of him and what his bloodline has produced???? We'll see.

The Southern Alberta Calgary Cat Fanciers held a fabulous cat show October 28, 29, 2006 that gave us the opportunity to show several Bengal Exotic FX cats, including three of those that belong to very special friends, and pet owners that their entire family got involved and show their family companions.
Leslie, David and Larissa
adore their three Bengals from us
and wanted to go ahead and join the fun of cat showing.
What a tremendous success they had.

We, at Bengal Exotic FX are overjoyed to present three brand new Champions! One of which went way beyond Championship and has been honoured with becoming a Double Grand Champion Alter (confirmed) in this one show. He has since progressed to Triple Grand Champion in subsequent shows.
Talk about being thrilled - we all are!
