Available Adults & Retired Breeders

It is important to us that several cats we have in our home find the right home for them given their own unique character and circumstances. There are several that need just the right home and people to give them what they need for a long and fulfilling life. We will NOT place haphazardly, and want to know a lot about a potential home, family and environment to see if it is a match for some very special adults we have that will benefit by being away from a "cattery environment".

Do YOU have a home that can take in a wonderful adult Bengal that wants luxury, or an occasional misfit that is unusual and wants your love on a one on one basis?

PRICING VARIES: Our older and retired cats are typically priced from
$185.00 (special needs cats), most at $285.00 to $585.00

for a pet, companion or therapy cat.

Prices vary much dependent on age, urgency of placement, merit of the individual cat, character and matching to a new owner expectation, and possibly special needs or care and understanding that must be willingly provided.
Bengal standard traits, state of health, spay/neuter, microchip and minimal care cost recovery. Any known peculiarity is completely disclosed and taken into account when determining price accordingly.

An older Bengal may be ideal if your personal budget does not accommodate the higher price of a kitten or if you want to help a cat in need of rehabilitation or health issues.

"Kondy"
Brown Spotted Tabby

Sire: Bengal Exotic FX Copurr Zu
Dam: Bengal Palace Falcon

The littlest of ears and the finest of details has gone into the making of this cat :-)))
Kondy is a special F4 addition to our breeding program.
We love her look and most of all, her character.

As we are watching this brown spotted girl, we're making note of the dark contrasted spotting and clear golden glittered coat. This is Copurr Zu's first daughter and we are excited about watching her type develop. Although Kondy is longer and lankier like her half siblings Trinity Thae and award winning Champion Chates Arvana, this cat is every bit characteristic of the additional wild features that we are wanting and will continue to work with now that we have her for our personal breed development goals.

Kondy has proven to be a superb queen giving us progeny of her type, traits and certaily with the look of the wild we are working to achieve. She is so sweet and loving, and so are her kids.

DGCH Species Bengal Fidus Achates
"Fido" - Retired
2011 - TICA - 3rd TOP Bengal Alter in the North West Region

"Fido" - Retired - Tavis' Alter
Seal Marbled Lynx Point - Neutered Male

Sire: SGC Kharaghendu Image of Hunters Exotic
Dam: Perl De Luna Freya of Species Bengal
Born: January 2, 2000
- 12 years old

Tested negative for (HCM) Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy as a part of our entire cattery screening
and Clinical HCM study now underway.

Fidus Achates means "faithful friend, devoted follower" from the epic Virgil's Aeneid. They were the first words that caught my eye at the bottom of the page when I opened the dictionary to find a name for him.
Fido was the first Bengal we fell in love with and he has become everything that his name suggests. From his picture in a neat pile of his littermates we just had to have him and his sister Ditey too.
He has the total opposite of the seductive vocals of his sister Ditey, who schmoozes, "Yea, yea, yea....." for everything.
Whenever Fido speaks, he only says, "Noooooooooooooo......" and unfortunately he emphasizes it in the show hall :-(
Fido is very vocal.

Fido has a lot of sweet personality and he is contributing to the quality of therapy cats born and raised here, particularily his sons who are hunks of love. This guy has made an exceptional contribution to our breeding program with both extreme type and strong horizontal flow in patterns.

Fido has graced us with passing on incredible TYPE. He has the long "race car" body type and wonderful horizontal flow that through the generations are now resulting in cats that are acquiring a Supreme and Quad Grand Champions.

His progeny have had excellent health, and are strong in all ways. We hope with who he has provided us to succeed him will do well to carry on his excellent traits as we work towards his retirement this year.

Fido is a marvelous boy, and we will keep him in our home until we find him a perfect forever home and he can now enjoy the rest of his life as an endeared pet.

Champion Bengal Exotic FX Jacob's Molly McSpitz

"Molly"
Brown Marbled Tabby - Spayed Female

Sire: Lepardo Calvaje of Bengal Exotic FX
Dam: CH Hunters Exotic McSpitz
Born Mar 21, 2002

Molly is a bold, meaningfully vocal (meaning she LOVES conversation)
and a beautiful replication of her mama, only better!

Sweet and sassy, always giving you that "look". There's an air about her that clearly says in itself, "I am important, I need you to know that, but you in my life are important too. How can I serve you?".

She is very beautiful, wild looking, and highly affectionate too. Molly is vocal, meows with a lisp, and has one upper canine tooth missing that has her "perch" her lip on the lower remaining canine tooth - that looks so cute and goofy.
Molly can be temperamental and pretend to complain, but when you get to know her, she is such a lap hogger, and wants undivided love and attention. That often keeps her happy and she pleases with giving of herself.
She longs to be adored 24/7, and gives that adoration back.
While she has a very crocked smile, she is passionate about life.

Molly has given us "Motzie" to continue all her special traits. :-)
Therefore she has retired and wants to be a love bug lapcat to someone who would want her,
understand her, and love her.

Bengal Exotic FX Secret Confessions
"Confessions"

"Confessions"
Brown Marbled Tabby -Spayed Female

Sire: Species Bengal Fidus Achates
Dam: Bengal Exotic FX Jinga Jamu
Born: July 20, 2004

Confessions' pictures need updating. She is a matured brown marbled tabby and is 4 years old now and the pictures above show her from youth to about two years old. She is quite the character and an active lively Bengal with a LOT of love to give to the right person(s). She has a very tiny voice, and loves to jump and play.

Confessions has so many qualities.
She and the rest of Jinga's marbled kittens were born with the wild faces we wanted to see.
Confessions also has a lovely coat and pattern.

This gal is a real sweetie and showing wonderful displays of affection between play times and her fetching sessions.
She is an ultimate therapy / companion cat as she is intensly affectionate and devoted to love.

Confessions could be ideal for persons with autism, some disability, or elderly where there is a need for truly compassionate devoted company and companionship.

Bengal Exotic FX ZuZu's Petals

"Petals"
Davey-Lee's Neurotic Prima-Donna. LOL!
Brown Spotted Tabby - Spayed Female

Sire: CH Chaparral ZuZu of Bengal Exotic FX
Dam: Species Bengal Aphrodite's Dream
Born: February 12, 2001

Soft and luxurious is how we describe Petals' coat.
Place her in a beam of sunshine and see her glisten with glitter. Truly beautiful.

She is only one example of a very pretty, strong boned and large muscled female that is out of Ditey...
Only, she was not cut out for motherhood and rather than keeping her here,
we are offering her as a loving, affectionate companion pet.

Petals would be most suited to a home with no other cats or no "alpha" cat. She should be fine with dogs, but she has had to endure being intimidated by one particular cat here,
and being an only cat seems to be what she tells us she would prefer.

Bengal Exotic FX Mein Titan
"Titan"

Click For More Info/Pictures & Candid Shots
"Titan"
Brown Marbled Tabby

Sire: Species Bengal Fidus Achates
Dam: Bengal Exotic FX Japanese Shotokon

Born: February 11, 2005

Titan is shy and very difficult to photograph and capture the actual richness of his colour and texture. Silky coat quality and jet black sheeted pattern that are strong in a horizontal flow are in the cards for this guy. We are very fond of his
facial features, eye brows, huge nocturnal eyes and great profile that are expressing a very wild look.
Not only is his body type correct, but his wild exotic head with very small ears are both seen on the same cat which we are now beginning to consistently achieve in our breeding program.
Mein Titan has a somewhat timid temperament yet is loving and full of devotion. He is a great companion to me personally, and needs confidence for interacting and bonding with others and a sense of security with which he comes out of his being a fraidy cat.
Mein Titan is immensily beautiful in body, mind and most of all - spirit.

Titan's sire: Species Bengal Fidus Achates has tested negative for HCM as well as his grand dam: Bengal Palace Falcon and great grand sire: CH Chaparral ZuZu on his dam's side - all being negative and five years old and beyond.

Bengal Exotic FX GOB-BLYN
"GOB"

"GOB"
Dad's Special Boy and Great Buddy
Brown/Blackened Marbled Tabby

Born: February 14, 2003

GOB has an incredibly thick, plush, soft and silky clear coat. His blackness in unusually dense and there appears to be virtually no agouti banding visible on the black pattern hairs at all.
Everything else about him we love too! Great ears, head, type and tail, but his legs are a bit too short. GOB is forever underfoot, hoping to trip us or at least have us look at him so he can pierce our hearts with those "haven't you got any foooooodddddd for me" eyes.
Gobbie "waves" for love and attention. That's all he wants - very easy to please!

Update, while most of the family were away attending On Safari (Bengal Congress that year in Riverside, California) GOB decided to bond with Dave (daddy to the cattery) and now the two are inseparable!!! GOB anticipates Dave's every move from his waking in the morning to be there for loving to him coming home from work and then when time to retire for the evening. Such a JOY to watch such love in progress.

Bengal Exotic FX Laredo
"Laredo" - Alter

"Laredo" - Alter
Tommy, our eldest son has this his special boy...
Seal Marbled Lynx Point Tabby

Sire: Species Bengal Fidus Achates
Dam: Kharaghendu Yuki of Bengal Exotic FX
Born: January 27, 2003

Now almost 7 months old in the pictures above. Laredo's marbled pattern and coat colour is showing up nicely. Based on the chaotic doodle art, horizontal mar belling on his sire, this boy will continue to open up to some lovely chaining. Laredo is already giving mucho kisses whenever he gets a chance and takes his play very seriously. His rabbit-like soft coat is very glittered and he is long and elegant giving his stride a very wild look. At this early age he has the qualities of being a being and exceptional therapy cat. He has a wonderful personality and fun character traits.

Update: Laredo is a compassionate pal to our teenage son Tommy. This boy lives in Tommy's bedroom, and is one of the largest cats we have here in both body and soul. He is huge, but what is hilarious is how much of a chicken he is. What is most peculiar about this boy is how huge he is, but how tiny his voice is ( and so is his brain capacity, LOL!
That along with his courage.... not! LOL!

"Shekinah" - Retired
Brown Spotted Tabby - Spayed Female

Sire: CH Chaparral ZuZu of Bengal Exotic FX
Dam: Kharaghendu Yuki of Bengal Exotic FX

Born: August 07, 2002

Those spots you see on her sides look the same size all the way around her. She has good body type, and great head with small ears. After seeing what she produced with her fist litter we decided to let her have another. Her litter was outstanding and worth checking more on her capabilities.
It sure makes her tummy inviting for little kisses, but she is way too ticklish for that!
Shekinah is a pretty female that loves to romp and play. She absolutely adores Tommy and will chase him if he invites her to a game of tag, and she catches him every time! She deliberately annoys Tommy with silly antics to get his attention when he is busy doing something else. A very fun loving cat. We love her soft coat, wild look and head features.

Great mom, and produces well. We have appreciated the kittens Shekinah has given us. All well and substantial.
We will look to see when Shekinaha has shown us we have who can succeed her. BUT sometimes there is a cat who loves what they do and loves the care they can put into raising wonderful babies....

Bengal Exotic FX Precocious Precario

Click For More Info/Pictures & Candid Shots
"Cario"
Brown/Blackened Marbled Tabby

Sire: Bengal Exotic FX Copurr Zu
Dam: Bengal Palace Falcon

Born: July 07, 2003

Cario is an F4 - full brother to Quad Grand Champion Alter Bengal Exotic FX Okinawan Isshyn-Ryu (Ryudy) and my Bengal Exotic FX Copen MidKnight Dude.
Except with me, he's a bit shy, but we are spending as much time with him as possible every day
. He still wants to skitter away if he can, but this won't last too long when he finally gets the hang of living it up - kitten style! Cario has marvelous type and a great wild face, bold black full chin strap and little ears like his brother . He also has a silky clear coat and as his pattern is coming out, it is showing depth, texture and chaotic horizontal flow.

This is one of our most exquisite studs who gives us some spectacular marbling on his F5 babies,
and oh such a wild look! Cario is very shy and must be maintained on a raw diet only.

Bengal Exotic FX Pika Meow Meow
"Pika"

"Pika"
Brown Spotted Tabby- Neutered Male

Sire: CH Bengal Exotic FX Felinese Mikan
Dam: Bengal Exotic FX In Spite of Herself

Born: October 19, 2007

At less than 2 weeks old, Pika looked clearly dark spotted on a very light background for great contrast. His pattern flow is exactly how we want it with next to no verticality like domestic cats and very horizontal from shoulder to back end. This is a very nice boy that we will soon see more on the traits he will soon be further expressing. Pika is developing some lovely rosetting on his spots.

RW CH Bengal Exotic FX McCawdai a la Mewt

"McCawdai"
Brown Marbled Tabby - Spayed Female

TICA Award of Excellence Northwest Region

Second Best Brown (black) Marbled Tabby Bengal of the Year - 2005

Sire: Kharaghendu Daidak of Bengal Exotic FX
Dam: CH Hunters Exotic McSpitz of Bengal Exotic FX
Born: October 10, 2003

Pretty, pretty, pretty..... and oh so cuddly, affectionate and the ultimate of a companion. Talk about temperament from heaven, and oh so lovely to touch.

Having a mama nicknamed "Micky-McCaw" because of vocal comments sounding more like "McCaw" than any ordinary "Meow", this daughter talks like that too. Only... McCawDai had next to no voice, so she repeated this "McCaw" sound with a scratchy raspy effort just enough for us to here it. She's our little Bengal "A La Mewt".

McCawdai (her dad was "Daidak" - hence "dai" in her name) had but two litters for us to capture the incredible face she expresses. We got one female from her to carry this powerful face structure forward (MiCaw). Thank you, McCawdai!!!

McCawdai had but one uterine horn, and extra special care was needed to be exercised for her to have but one more dangerous litter. We carefully did another breeding because her face was SOOOO special. She did miraculous for that breeding, and she is safe and sound due to extra veterinary care to do that breeding. Pure LOVE for temperament, and absolute beauty as far as marbled pattern, she passed that on to MiCaw. We had hoped one further breeding when the time was right for her would give us what we need to carry on a strong and vibrant example of what we are all trying to acheive in the Bengal breed. McCawdai did that. We are honoured by what she managed to do.

After she was closely vet monitored when she became pregnant for her last and carefully attended to litter, she was spayed and retired right after that. I must say, this is a female that I am reluctant to place because I love her so much.

We will only let her go to a family that will give her all their love because she means so much to me.
That means, you gotta talk us outta this one! :-) And you need to be a special loving home - else she stays here with us!

Bengal Exotic FX Pyro-Maniac

Click For More Info/Pictures & Candid Shots
"Pyro"
Seal Spotted Mink Tabby - Spayed Female

Sire: Kharaghendu Daidak of Bengal Exotic FX
Dam: Bengal Exotic FX BeDazzled BeWilder
Born: August 19, 2003

We added "Maniac" to Pyro's name for a reason. :-)
We discovered this girl was growing up with a very strong, tight and muscular body structure that we feel is worth working with. Her boning is typical of a male, and added to her body length, she has a lot to offer.
Well, as time went on we realized Pyro was likely not fertile, and we spayed her so she could go to a family home and tell them all about what it is like to be a yakky cat. Yes, Pyro talks a lot! She is boisterous, fun loving and very affectionate.
She is very wild looking, talkative and has a lot of love to offer. Looking into her face will have you feel you are looking at a small forest dwelling cat, and not your typical livingroom leopard.

Bengal Exotic FX Imax ICU

"Imax"
Retired Now ???? What do we do with this gal....???? Bloodline - pending. Such an Angel!
Brown Marbled Tabby

Imax doesn't let her being a girl get in the way of her accomplishing anything she sets her mind to do. She, supposedly thinking she's "mighty mouse", scurries her way up to the top of our shoulders and perches there like we were built specifically for her.
There is nothing more precious than to look down beside your ankle and see a little ball of fur looking back at'cha with her head slightly cocked to one side flashing her bold and beautiful eyes like a neon sign that reads "Gotta Love Me!!!".
Two judges at the Southern Alberta Cat Fanciers gave Imax - Best of Breed.
We were hoping all would love her combination of personality, type, quality coat, colour, whited tummy, and of course, her eyes!
To her bad luck, Imax sustained a chronic injury to her neck (damaged nerve)
as a result of a fall the day after New Year's Day 2003 which has halted her show career.
She doesn't seem to mind or be bothered by it and we hoped this injury would not be permanent, but it is. She still gets all goofy when we call her "Cute Thing".
Maxi is now retired having blown her pelvis during a difficult birthing and is under chiropractic care for both her sacroiliac and her neck. We decided not to take a chance on this happening again and "Cute Thing" stays as a lovely member of our family.
Update: In all fairness to Maxi (Imax), we have decided to let her go to someone very special. She will not be going just anywhere and I will listen for who and where it is right for her. We have a high railing and with being a cattery it is not the safest place for Imax to be totally free. She is a bit awkward with her balance and we do not want to risk a serious fall.
I cannot express enough how angelic Imax is. It breaks my heart to think of parting with her, but I know it is better for her to have a safer home. She is eager to flood anyone with so much innocent and pure love. She is in no way unhealthy, other than balance issues, and has so much to give.
We have found her special person who can be graced by having a cat like Imax.

"Fidette"
Will stay with our family unless a special home is found.
Seal Marbled Mink Tabby - Spayed Female

TICA Award of Excellence - Northwest Region
Best Seal Mink Marbled Tabby Bengal of the Year - 2005

Sire: Species Bengal Fidus Achates
Dam: Kharaghendu Yuki of Bengal Exotic FX
Born August 20, 2003

Fidette is another Fido x Yuki kitten that incidently is a female replica of Bengal Exotic FX Phoenix
(from a prior litter to this one, who can be seen on one of the Gallery pages).
She has started her adult show career and became a Champion in her first show attended.
As she matured she continued her high potential to "knock 'em dead" with her excellent traits.

Fidette has a high quality, silky, crystal glittered, luxuriously soft coat with a crisp pattern that has continued to be distinct with good contrast, sharp definition and very horizontal chaotic flow. She has good body type with a beautiful pattern.

Bengal Exotic FX Zaida Emi-Lee

Click For More Info/Pictures & Candid Shots

"Emi-Lee"
Mom bonded in the 55 minutes for her to take her first breath at birth. Special Kitty in 2001.
Brown Marbled Tabby

Sire: CH Chaparral ZuZu of Bengal Exotic FX
Dam: CH Hunters Exotic McSpitz
Born: March 31, 2001

Words cannot describe our "Emi-Lee" (or "M 'n M" - because she's SO sweet!).
This little putt-putt has the ultimate of characters and is never in a moment where she is not letting us know it! Disciplining children, to her is like the sound of grating your fingernails on a chalk board, causing her to react by jumping onto my shoulders, foolishly wrapping her little paws around the back of my head, yanking, chomping and sliding her teeth in my hair. She continuously buggers up my household discipline when she causes an eruption of laughter any time I am trying to get some serious points across!
This is a cat that definitely "has a VOICE", and she knows how to use it!

There are a couple older cats here that we would not let go to just any home, and it be best that we meet you and see if you can help an adult cat that needs a wonderful home and are caring individuals (family) that may be suitable for who we are reluctant to place unless life, attitude towards cats, and wanting to help an animal live a long and wonderful life and the home potentials are perfect for them.

Sometimes we have waited over 2 years for the right family to arrive on inquiry. Please let us meet, talk on the telephone and discuss what you may be willing to take care of. Our adult cats mean a lot to us and they will not be placed just anywhere, or with just anyone. It has to be a perfect match.
