Emi-Lee and Prism had three
babies, however two of them were very tiny and did not make it. Emi-Lee is
having difficulty producing milk so we are assisting her by hand raising the
surviving boy, supplementing and feeding him every 2- 4 hours.
This baby, who we shall refer to as Bengal Exotic FX Eager to Live, is doing
well and growing every day.
He is beautiful and full of spunk and determination.

This is Nyima's first litter as it is for Titan too!
The blessed us with two beautiful brown spotted girls.
(Calypso and Theia)
Getting pictures of these babies, that are only a day old here (and the week
later pictures that are now on the "Kittens Available" page were
very difficult to get since Nyima gets very anxious when her babies
are out of her nesting box. If they make any wimpering sounds at all she begins
to fret.
So we had to take pictures very quickly and hope for the best.
This first one we are calling Bengal Exotic FX Calypso Rayz
"Calypso"
And also meet her sister, Bengal Exotic FX Theia Rayz

for trusting us with both Ditey and her littermate Fidus Achates - retired
last year.
Both were Y2K babies
born the millinium weekend.)
Ditey was bred by Mikan and
had three beautiful babies (two girls and a boy) as a last breeding by Mikan
before we retired him. We plan on retiring Ditey also as soon as she has raised
this litter.
Mikan is now neutered and ready for a family home life of luxury, while Ditey
is Davey-Lee's pet and will be going with her as she moves out on her own
taking her beloved Bengal pets with her.
Meanwhile, for her last litter (and she has had an average of only one litter
a year), Ditey (with Mikan) has once again done even better than ever before.
We are thrilled with the babies she presented us with yet again.
When you have a queen like this, and she has been breeding joyously for 7
years now and such a wonderful mama, we felt it important to always ask her
what she wanted to do, and it has always been and still is to get bred and
be the terrific and supremely happy mother of kittens. Ditey would want to
have kittens all the time if we would accommodate her. We also know she would
still want to do it again, but she has done so well for us, and last year
gifted us with "Nyima", a long waited for female, to carry on her
legacy, and we are trying to convince her that being spayed and forgetting
about all the diaper wipes, and beating off the tail pouncers will give her
time to enjoy the lounge areas and sunshine window sills as a retired and
lovely lady.
Do you think she will get the message? Do you think she will agree?
We hope so.
Ditey was born to be a mama, and she has been the best mama cat we have had
in our entire breeding program. We attribute many spectacular boys from our
cattery to her (and her littermate, Fido's) offspring (same bloodline). Mostly,
large and strong body type, head structures, ear size and most of all divine
temperament in the male babies. Ditey produces the finest of country gentlemen,
candlelight and roses type boys, and although the ladies of her loins have
been somewhat precarious, we waited 7 years for Nyima, and Ditey's contribution
to the breed will live on through her wonderful daughter that has the temperament
we were watching for.
Ditey does not know yet that this is her last litter, and we will strive to
break it to her gently. We will encourage her to enjoy every moment she has
with babies that she already adores even though they were at the time of writing
this only 6 hours old.
We couldn't be happier for her, and she has yet to find out how much more
there is coming to her life when she can do more play than motherly duties.
Littermate, Fidus Achates, a breeding male, also deserves honourable mention,
for it has been these two cats that have given me the most stability in soundness
of health and incredible development for the Bengal breed. Down from them
we have had a Supreme Grand Champion 2006/2007 Show Season, and several Quad
Grand Champions as featured on our home page.
Be it known that those titled cats are "snows".
We are VERY proud of both Ditey and Fido.

Lashka, the funky marbled boy, is a magnificent boy, going to be a breeder
in Australia
to live with Alison Driver of Runamok Bengals AU :-)
The other two have been placed as exquisite pets locally.

This delivery granted us with two wonderful boys.
One is a brown marbled baby and the other is a brown spotted baby.

Babies have been born - April 19,
2008
At midnight
the first of four wonderful babies that we were anxious to receive arrived.
Within the hour three more joined us.
We have updated with pictures of the three brown spotted, two males and one
female, and one female brown marbled kitten.
(One will be staying here and the other three are already promised to pet
homes.)
