Seal Marbled Mink Tabby - Spayed Female
TICA Award of Excellence - Northwest Region
Best Seal Mink Marbled Tabby Bengal of the Year - 2005
Sire: Species Bengal Fidus
Achates
Dam: Kharaghendu Yuki of Bengal Exotic FX
Born August 20, 2003
Fidette is another Fido x Yuki kitten that incidently is a female replica
of Bengal Exotic FX Phoenix
(from a prior litter to this one, who can be seen on one of the Gallery pages).
She has started her adult show career and became a Champion in her first show
attended and more.
As she matured she continued her high potential to "knock 'em dead"
with her excellent traits proving that by becoming a Regional Winner for Seal
Marbled Mink in the region.
Fidette has a high quality, silky, crystal glittered, luxuriously soft coat
with a crisp pattern that has continued to be distinct with good contrast,
sharp definition and very horizontal chaotic flow.
She has a wonderful wild look body type with a beautiful pattern. She has
developed a nice profile with huge nocturnal eyes and very small ears. All
in all, a truly beautiful cat.
Curiously, Fidette had developed an uncertain and intermitant
health/heart issue, undiagnosed at this time, seemingly an electrical problem
- poor signal and not consistent with HCM, and we seek a special home
to provide her with the best of love and care for the months or years she
has available before potential departure. As well, we are trying to get her
screened for HCM and a complete cardiac study to get a diagnosis asap to be
sure.
We just do not know her status at this time, and soon to be available heart
assessment - we can better determine what it is that
makes her heart beat/rate go to below normal intermittently. There is no pattern.
Often she is normal.
Fidette has recently lost weight and needs a home that will nurture her needs
with extra canned foods and some raw diet along with removing her from the
stresses of a cattery environment. THAT will make a huge difference in her
state of health. We have been working on this and she is doing great and gaining
weight, but her stress levels need to go down.
We hope she can continue to regain her vitality that she is showing us at
this time in a corrected environment as well as strength away from the cattery,
and there are no guarantees on this gal.
Please know, she is sweet, so full of love and a beautiful animal.
We are uncertain about this lovely lady, but healing in a suitable home may
make a significant difference.
