Linkin has an outstanding horizontal pattern that is with black leopard spotting on what will become a light background. He is in major "fuzzies" right now with blackish baby guard hairs that will be gone in a month or so to reveal
his beautiful dark and rich spotting.
What else is outstanding with this kitten is his wild looking face and how huge and nocturnal looking his eyes are.

Teller is an unusual colour being a bright sorrel and to our dismay, astounding in his own right!
Although odd coloured, he displays rosetting unique to himself. We called him "Time Will Tell" because of the fact that we need time to see what this baby has to offer. He is indeed beautiful and a charmer!
Discussed this baby with a couple of TICA judges (Sept 27th), and he is defintely a genetic black cat, but HOT rufoused. HOT!!! He has the potential of having having the "extension" gene that references to "amber" colouring, yet there is no doubt he is indeed one Hot coloured Bengal, and just in time for Halloween.
Shall we call him Pumpkin? Awesome!
He is a honey that is keen on rubbing legs and great for giving and wanting attention. A very nice boy, in all ways.

Kitten Pricing

Kittens may have more of the Bengal Breed Standard qualities or desired traits and they are priced accordingly.
Pricing depends on each kitten's individual merit in accordance with the Bengal Breed Standard.

While occasionally kittens could be "Pet Quality" and typically priced at $1,200.00 to $1500.00,
with a few select quality kittens as high as $2,000.00,
plus GST of 5% if sold in Canada.

Our top quality kittens are $2,000.00 and up, although, those ones often would not be available for a pet home and normally remain here for us to use their excellent traits in our breeding program.
It is rare that one of this quality would be available for sale as a pet.

INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE

We take care of the costs for exams, spaying and neutering, microchipping and kitten series vaccinations (shots).
These are ALL DONE before kittens leave the cattery. A veterinarian has for the most part just seen your kitten immediately prior to home time for spay or neuter, or shipping health certification and rabies, if needed.

You PAY NO MORE for additional veterinary services later on that are normal costs involved
in any typical kitten purchase, since all required services are already done prior
to your kitten leaving here to come to your home.

You get to remain worry free not having any need to part with your kitten or have any risks involved with surgeries or inconveniences for any of the above procedures already taken care of and done prior to your baby arriving.

NOTE: Our veterinarian will not perform our pre-homing spay or neuter if the kitten is not in prime state of health, therefore you can have confidence in the soundness of health at the time we let your kitten come home
next to immediately after the spay or neuter is done. :-)

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION:
Any discovered or known health concern or predisposition is completely disclosed by this breeder.
We also take pride in assuring you - we work with you and your veterinarian - sometimes "for" you regarding health issues that may come up for the LIFE OF THE CAT. You are never alone or without support.

FOR BREEDERS: Female or male kittens if purchased as breeders differ in prices
- ranging $2300.00 to $2800.00 Canadian dollars, plus GST if sold in Canada.
HCM testing is extended to up to three generations of ancestry or more if at all possible.

While breeders are sold only to catteries that meet our strictest criteria, have similar breed development goals, test for HCM, have health standards and guarantees like ours and are working with bloodlines that we feel confident with;
Inquiries are welcome, although our strict qualifications are important to meet.

All prices in Canadian Dollars and plus 5% GST if sold in Canada.

We ship to most locations in North America. International inquiries are welcome
(we have recently shipped as far as Australia).

Refer to "Kitten Purchases" for more information on purchase requirements,

Understanding Kittens Available for Early Selection

We currently have 4 kittens available for early selection for homes destined for Jan/Feb. 2012.

Please watch for updates this coming week with pictures soon to be uploaded here..

All of our babies debut and continue to be shown in this section as they move through various stages of individual development from looking like bratwurst sausages to fun loving playmates. We call this available for "Early Selection".
Most often our kittens are selected well before they are ready to go home, and often soon after birth.
We provide new owners the opportunity to be more in touch with their individual baby's early development into sound and stable maturity with on-going picture updates
and to bond sooner if local by visiting their baby to develop unique bonding experiences. Such fun!.

Selection at an early age has its benefits. What we are able to assess in kitten merit and value at that time is what you will be paying to purchase that kitten. That changes as the kitten matures more and we assess again and again.
With Early Selection, should your kitten evolve to be more than what we first anticipated and locked in a cost, you will not be charged more if later developments show us higher quality since we have secured your purchase price at what we knew at the time of early selection. Most often, as any a given kitten matures, it has shown us even more potential and higher value, but as an added benefit of "Early Selected" kittens, any further value will be a no charge benefit to their new owner when they select early. We do not increase a price later once selected and should a kitten develop into more than early assessed, and owner can therefore benefit from early selection in this way.

For those of you just looking, not in a rush to select your kitty, or should you not find the special one that appeals to you right now, we have a few litters throughout the year so please check back often.

Should you prefer to wait for an upcoming litter, please take a look at information about our waiting list.

ABOUT NAMES:

Some kittens could be pre-registered with (TICA) - The International Cat Association, a large genetic registry that is used most frequently around the world to register purebred cats, recognized globally as well,
and have names already assigned and registered if we have shown those individuals in cat shows.
However, on this website most kittens are named here only for character and the convenience of individual identification.
New owners are welcome to change any unregistered name to that of their own liking and register their kitten using their own preferred name.

If you are considering purchasing a kitten -
Please go to "Why Choose Bengal Exotic FX" for more important information.

EFFECTIVE SOON
ALL KITTENS AND OLDER CATS LEAVING THIS CATTERY
WILL HAVE BEEN SCREENED FOR HCM PRIOR TO DEPARTURE IF POSSIBLE
OR THEIR BLOODLINE HAS BEEN SCREENED
Although complete parental Cardiac Assessment TESTING
is more important than kittens - given that the onset of HCM
is typically not expressed in youth.

* * * ALL OF OUR PET OWNERS ARE INVITED TO CONTACT US FOR
INFORMATION ON A COMPLETE CARDIAC ASSESSMENT / SCREENING

Additionally, for all kittens purchased,
we will provide details of testing / screening for HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) on parents as completed,
grand parents and great grand parents that have been on these premises.

Anyone, any where globally is welcome to ask me about any 5-10 generation pedigree of a Bengal they may be considering purchasing and I will inform of any known ancestry that has been publicly announced where HCM positive cats exist in that pedigree prior to your purchase. Known cases of this dominant genetic defect is important so you can know ahead of time that your kitten may require screening, and at some point potential medication to prolong their lives should they have acquired the dominant defective heart gene. I will surely share what has been publically acknowledged as Genetic HCM cats in any kitten's background so that you will not be surprised when you know more about what potential risks there are in any given bloodline you may select from and be better able to work towards expert assistance to aid on the longivity of your cat by being "in the know". I offer this as a public service and will make inquiries about any cat in question for any reason. Please ask my assistance.

For more information about HCM, please go to: http://mysite.verizon.net/jachinitz/hcm/index.html

Many HCM positive cats have recently been published and I am happy to share that documentation with anyone that asks as well as discuss known siblings or relatives for their potential associated risks.

BUYER BEWARE (especially of back yard breeders): The world of Bengal breeders are mostly doing diligence to alleviate this from the breed, but there are some that would rather deny it, ignore it, hide it, not bother to screen/test for it, know nothing about it if they are not serious and responsible breeders, and some if they do know - omit disclosure of known HCM that may impact their breeding programs and cats that they sell to other breeders and pet owners, while continuing to sell high end Bengals
at the cost of the expense and loss for an owner farther down the road.

Note: If any of the kittens are sold as a breeder,
he or she will be tested for
(HCM) Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy,
and parents and/or grand parents residing here
will have tested negative
as a part of our entire cattery screening and on-going clinical study.

Please see statement on HCM in our " Purchase Contract".

For Your Consideration:

A Bengal is a highly active, very intelligent, high energy cat that loves to play.
We often recommend (and prefer) that when purchasing a kitten one seriously consider
purchasing two from the same litter.
They do well when they are with a litter mate, or with children that have this same high energy
and not left alone for too much time :-)

Because this is our preference for the health and happiness of the pet and family,
we do reduce the price $100.00 each if two are selected at the same time.
