Please scroll down to have a look at Kittens that have recently arrived
have already been sold by way of Early Selection.

And please visit the New Arrivals page for the new babies announcements
and further information on when new litters are expected.

Please Note: We do not photoshop or enhance any of our kitten pictures in any way to make them look more contrasted or rosetted than they are naturally.
What you see here in photos is a digital camera rendition of each kitten, however, they are much more spectacular in real life as opposed to a photo.

Best if you could meet them in person and see them in full living colour and movement
with their goofy antics.

Kittens and Pricing

Pet, show, companion or therapy kitten prices vary anywhere between
$1000.00 and $2,000.00, plus GST
if sold in Canada.
(Average $1,300.00 - $1,500.00 - Occasionally less, but not often.... Please ask...)

IMPORTANT SAVINGS
In the purchase price, when getting a kitten from us, we take care of the average $350.00 to $500.00
for exams, spaying and neutering, microchipping and all required shots.
These are ALL DONE before they leave the cattery. A veterinarian has for the most part just seen your kitten immediately prior to home time for spay or neuter, or shipping health certification and rabies, if needed..
Any discovered or known health concern or predisposition is completely disclosed by this breeder.

After we ship your kitten home you PAY NO MORE for additional veterinary services that are normal costs
involved in a kitten purchase, since all required services are already done prior to your kitten coming home
and included in the price.

You get to remain risk and worry free not having any need to part with your kitten
for any of the above procedures already taken care of and done.

MORE DETAIL TO UNDERSTAND PRICING:

While occasionally some kittens could be "Pet Quality" and typically priced at $1,200.00 to $1300.00,
"Show and Therapy potential" kittens are $1,400.00 to $1,500.00 or more.
Our top quality kittens can be as high as $1,600.00 to $2,000.00, although, those ones we would normally keep here. :-)
Some kittens may have more of the Bengal Breed Standard qualities or desired traits and are priced accordingly.
Pricing depends on each kitten's individual merit in accordance with the Bengal breed standard.

plus GST if sold in Canada. HCM testing is extended to up to three generations of ancestry or more if at all possible.

Kittens Available

Please see Kittens below that are available via "Early Selection".

Kittens purchased as "Early Selection" will be able to go to their new homes when about 3 months old
- (about 13 weeks old, after all required vaccines, spayed or neutered and microchip
completed by breeder, and included in price.)

Pre-selection is allowed under "Early Selection Program".

Understanding Kittens Available for Early Selection

All of our babies debut in this section and continue in this section as they move through various stages of individual development. We call this available for "Early Selection".
Most often all kittens are selected well before they are ready to go home.
We provide new owners the opportunity to be more in touch with their individual baby's early development
and bond sooner if local and can visit their baby to develop such bonding experiences. Such fun!.

Selection at an early age means, what we assess at that time is what you will be paying to purchase that kitten.
Should the kitten evolve to be more than what we first anticipate, you will not be charged more since we have secured your purchase at what we knew at the time of early selection. Frequently, as any a given kitten matures, it has shown us even more potential, and for "Early Selected" kittens that further value is a no charge benefit to their new owner when they select early as we do not increase a price later once selected, and owner benefits from early selection in this way.

For those of you just looking, not in a rush to select your kitty, or should you not find the special one that appeals to you right now, we have litters throughout the year and there is usually a litter in some stage of
development at all times, so please check back often.

Should you prefer to wait for an upcoming litter, please take a look at information about our waiting list.

"CoCo"- SOLD

Brown Marbled Tabby - Female

Sire: CH Bengal Exotic FX Hephaistian Hanzel
Dam: Bengal Exotic FX MiCaw

Born: April 27, 2010

READY TO GO HOME -
JULY 24, 2010

CoCo was born quite tiny, and she is working on catching up to her litter mates and doing very well even though she is still small. She is spunky and full of git-go, striving and thios last week no longer any issue with her left eye. It is open and free from any concern at this time. Will be vet re-checked soon, but she looks to be back to mnormal at this time. She has huge nocturnal eyes, and seems she had a delay on opening of one of them. All is well!

The digital camera happens to catch glimpses of where her coat pattern will be opening up over the next 2 years. These fine details canot be seen with the naked eye and I often study the photos to review, assess and detect what we can potentially expect. One interesting trait I noticed is that she has a marbled tail that is quite striking.

We will be excited to watch her mature.

CoCo's coat is also has a lovely plush feel to it, so we anticipate it will continue to feel silky soft.

Coco's pictures are from over a week ago, and the tight eye from earlier times has now resolved completely. Pictures of late do not show that yet, but next pictues when I have time will. She is in perfect health as of now. Still needs to work on growing being so tiny when born, but she is doing amazing and so spunky and playful, we have no doubt she is just taking her time.

ABOUT NAMES:

Some kittens could be pre-registered with (TICA) - The International Cat Association, a large genetic registry that is used most frequently around the world to register purebred cats, recognized globally as well,
and have names already assigned and registered if we have shown those individuals in cat shows.
However, on this website most kittens are named here only for character and the convenience of individual identification.
New owners are welcome to change any unregistered name to that of their own liking and register their kitten using their own preferred name.

If you are considering purchasing a kitten -
Please go to "Why Choose Bengal Exotic FX" for more important information.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 15, 2010

ALL KITTENS AND OLDER CATS LEAVING THIS CATTERY
WILL HAVE BEEN SCREENED FOR HCM PRIOR TO DEPARTURE
Although complete parental Cardiac Assessment TESTING
is more important given that the onset of HCM
is typically not expressed in youth.

* * * ALL OF OUR PET OWNERS ARE INVITED TO CONTACT US FOR A
FREE COMPLETE CARDIAC ASSESSMENT / SCREENING
WITH DIAGNOSTICS TO BE DONE BY A BOARD CERTIFIED CARDIOLOGIST
OFFERED FROM JUNE 2010, TO AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT IF TIME.
(after which there will be a discounted charge)
(*dates subject to change or extend)

Additionally, for all kittens purchased,
we will provide details of testing / screening for HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) on parents as completed,
grand parents and great grand parents that have been on these premises to new owners and available for screening.
Further kitten screening will be determined and recommendations given based on overall familial screening results.

Anyone, any where, globally is welcome to ask me about any 5-10 generation pedigree of a Bengal they may be considering purchasing and I will inform of any known ancestry that has been publicly announced where HCM positive cats exist in that oedigree prior to your purchase. Know cases of this dominant genetic defect is important so you can know ahead of time that your kitten may require screening, and at some point potential medication to prolong their lives should they have acquired the dominant defective heart gene. I will surely share what has been publically acknowledged as Genetic HCM cats in any kitten's background so that you will not be surprised when you know more about what potential risks there are in any given bloodline you may select from. I offer this as a public service and will make inquiries about any cat in question for any reason. Please ask my assistance.

For more information about HCM, please go to: http://mysite.verizon.net/jachinitz/hcm/index.html

Many HCM positive cats in certain bloodlines have recently been published and I am happy to share that with anyone that asks as well as discuss known siblings or relatives.

The world of Bengal breeders are mostly doing diligence to alleviate this from the breed,
but there are some that would rather deny it, omit disclosure of known HCM that may impact their breeding programs and cats that they sell to other breeders and pet owners, while continuing to sell high end Bengals
at the cost of the loss for an owner farther down the road.

Note: If any of the kittens are sold as a breeder,
he or she will be tested for
(HCM) Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy,
and parents and/or grand parents residing here
will have tested negative
as a part of our entire cattery screening and on-going clinical study.

Please see statement on HCM in our " Purchase Contract".

For Your Consideration:

A Bengal is a highly active, very intelligent, high energy cat that loves to play.
We often recommend (and prefer) that when purchasing a kitten one seriously consider
purchasing two from the same litter.
They do well when they are with a litter mate, or with children that have this same high energy
and not left alone for too much time :-)

Because this is our preference for the health and happiness of the pet and family,
we do reduce the price of each if two are selected at the same time.
